As we had just boarded the boat that was taking me and my party for a cruise around the sights of the south shore of Long Island and the Greater South Bay, I was getting my camera ready and I saw this beautiful wide open view of the inlet as we were getting ready to go under the bridge and be officially in the Atlantic Ocean. The view was perfect and so wide open with the beautiful blue water with calm small ripples in it and a nice light blue sky. From where I was on the boat I had my telephoto lense on so I could capture the background and in the background there was Long Island's famous marsh lands famous for the various birds and wildlife that inhabit it. The waters that I was photographing have also become over the past 8 years home to seals from all over the world who come to have their pups and then leave due to the influx of sharks. Which this year is a major problem on Long Island with sharks of all kinds of species from Hammerheads, Great White Sharks, Bull Sharks, Blues, Brown, and Sand Sharks. Many beaches have had to been closed for periods of times
