While on a recent striper fishing trip with some friends of mine I was sitting in the cabin as we getting ready to get to the fishing grounds and do some fishing. As I always do I had my camera and video camera to capture what ever moments may occur that day. I stepped out onto the back of the boat to enjoy the view and sat down on one of the coolers. Just I was taking my lens off my camera the captain put the throttle down and we began to hit the open ocean waters with the hopes of getting to the fishing grounds before anyone else. I looked back and saw this beautiful picturesque scene as we were leaving Oceanside, New York located on the south shore of Long Island. While the captain was increasing the speed of the boat we were fortunate that the waters were calm that day, I knelt down on the floor of the open area of the back of the boat and captured this action shot of our charter boat flying through the ocean waters and creating these waves, wakes and showing a great blue colored ocean water with a nice looking background shot of where we had just come from with the clouds fading off into the west and the sun barely visible behind them but still seeing a light blue sky in the sky. I was able to capture the sky and the water meeting on the horizon with two different colors of blue and some great white water and white clouds in the sky, along with jetties on each side of the moving water as we sliced our way through the water.
