While on a long weekend vacation in the Poconos, one of my favorite places to visit. I drove down the road from where I was staying to the Bushkill Falls also known as the Niagara Falls of Pennsylvania. Everytime I visit the Poconos I make it a point to visit the Bushkill Falls and take different trails in order to see the Falls from a different angle. This year I started my hike on the far side of the Falls and eventually was lined up directly across from the falls with only the river far below separating us. It was a great site, as from this spot I could see the river leading off the Falls and each of the three drops. As they increase with surge and power as the Falls drop from the first tier to the next tier and finally the third tier where it is a beautiful sheet of water cascading down onto the rocks and river. The final drop since it is the largest looks like a curtain of water because you cannot see any of the rocks behind it. Great scenic image and since I was standing among some trees I figured I would leave some of them in the photo as to give my image a nature's frame
