On this 5th day of the Fall Season, I had chartered a 23-foot Sea Ray for a fishing trip with a friend of mine. The day started off at the marina at around 6:00 am with the sunrising and giving off a vibrant colored orange sky. Which I thought we were going to have a nice calm day 9 miles offshore for fishing. At about 7:00 we began to head down the famous Hudson Canal in Freeport on Long Island. I was hoping to get more great and wider photos of that sunrise I had captured back at the marina. Well, halfway down the Hudson Canal the fall sky was still hanging overhead as the sun was trying to break through. The sun was warm enough to be giving off some great reflections into a very calm Hudson Canal. Along with a nice view caused by the rising sun of silhouette trees and bushes. I decided to take a couple of photos of the sun fighting with the fall sky over long island. By 10:30 am the sun had prevailed, and we were comfortably fishing in a nice sunny 75-degree day, 5 days into the fall season
