While in the Poconos of Pennsylvania I decided to take a trip to see the Bushkill Falls known as the Niagra Falls of Pennsylvania. It was during a warm November day when I went down to the falls with some family and friends. The staff informed me that I had three choices as to what trails I wanted to take to go to the falls, beginner, moderate and expert. Since I am not an expert hiker through the mountains, I chose to take the moderate hiking route with my daughter. The fall scene within the woods was remarkable and no matter where you were you could hear the sound of the falls crashing down to the ground and then carrying the water down to the Delaware Water Gap. One of my personal favorite spots was right at the top of the Bushkill Falls where you could see the stream building up some speed and winding down the stream and eventually building up to an uncontrollable rapid before going over the edge. This photo was one of many that I was fortunate enough to take on this beautiful fall day in the Poconos.
