While attending one of my favorite concert venues, Jones Beach Concert Theater right on the water next to the Atlantic Ocean at Jones Beach, I was able to get tickets to see one of my all time favorite bands, ZZ Top, known as that Little Ol' Band From Texas. These three great musicians, Billy Gibbons on lead guitar, Dusty Hill on bass and Frank Beard on drums put on a great concert playing all of their greatest hits along with some surprises like playing Purple Haze a song by Jimi Hendrix. It was great as Billy Gibbons did the song justice and told a story about how he met Jimi Hendrix in Texas and used to perform some songs together. Overall great outdoor show with great seats and a fantastic band.
