As three of my friends and myself were coming in from the Atlantic Ocean after a ten hour trip for Black Fishing. We began to hit a section on the south shore of Long Island in Long Beach called Reynolds Channel. In Reynolds Channel because of all of the various marinas and private houses on the canal there are various signs that state "NO WAKE" and "5 MPH ONLY", the charter fishing boat that we were on began to cut its engines and came to a complete halt as we began to just cruise with the current. I grabbed my camera and began to photograph the sun setting behind the houses as the charter boat went down the channel. The sun was setting on the horizon and the rays that the sun was giving off was in a half circle and giving off colors of white, yellow, orange and blue. Along with bringing a beautiful looking reflection on the water right to the boat where I was sitting with my camera. The sunsets on Long Island in the winter time are famous for their multiple colors and beauty, and this one was no exception. This was one of a series of shots that I took after a great day of Black Fishing in the winter time in the middle of December.
