While driving from Norwalk, Connecticut back home to Long Island with my girlfriend I came across this small peaceful out of the way brook off of a small road. I pulled off the side of the road and grabbed my camera as I wanted to capture this shot and still beat the Easter traffic home. When I got to the site it was beautiful, it was a very peaceful babbling brook with gorgeous surroundings. I was standing on a small bridge that the brook ran under, there were geese under me and on the other side of the bride playing in the brook. The sun was setting for the day and I wanted to capture the sun and all of the surroundings. I got myself in the center of the bridge and the brook and captured this gorgeous scene of a small waterfall with some rushing white water coming down about two feet of rocks off of the brook in the background and halting onto the brook in front of me. The brook was surrounded by rocks on one side and green grass on the other. In the far background there were two visible houses on each side of the brook. The closer I looked I could see the brook all the way behind the woods running slowly and hitting various levels causing quick surges of a rush of white water from the various small waterfalls. From where I was standing the brook was running slowly and had many ripples in it caused by the small waterfall in front of me. I could see this place being a nice place to come and sit in the spring and summer
