On a trip to the Cross Bay Marina located off of the Cross Island Expressway which runs alongside the Long Island Sound and out into the Atlantic Ocean, I decided several weeks ago as NY was experiencing one of the coldest winters to go to the north shore of Long Island and see how this deep freeze had effected the waters of the Long Island Sound and the Atlantic Ocean.
