While attending one of the many local Classic Car shows I had the opportunity to go to in the summer of 2013, I was attending this one in Franklin Square, New York in August 2013 when I came across this mint 1969 Chevy SS Camaro with a remarkable red paint job and a fantastic looking twin black stripes running from the front hood to the rear of the car. This Camaro had a nice header sitting perfectly on the front hood of the car and the inside still had that brand new looking leather interior. I had an opportunity to meet the owner and speak to him and he told me he is the original owner and when I asked him how many new parts he has had to put into the car he said all of the parts are from Chevy and made for this 1969 SS Camaro. He told me he has kept the engine in good shape by having constant tune up that he does himself and cleans and waxes it himself does not take it to a car wash. This 1969 Chevy SS Camaro is the type of car my friends and I wanted when we were younger the sound, the style and the speed. For more information on this fantastic Classic Chevy SS Camaro please feel free to read the information below;
The first-generation Chevrolet Camaro appeared in dealerships on September 29, 1966[4], for the 1967 model year on an all brand new rear-wheel drive GM F-body platform and would be available as a 2-door, 2+2 seat, coupe or convertible with a choice of six-cylinder and V8 powerplants.[5] The first-gen Camaro would last up through the 1969 model year. The SS performance package consisted of a 350 or 396 cu in V8 engine and chassis upgrades for better handling and to deal with the additional power. The SS featured non-functional air inlets on the hood, special striping, and SS badging. The 1969 model year was exceptionally long, extending into November 1969, due to manufacturing problem that delayed the introduction of the second generation model planned for 1970. It is a popular myth late-'69 Camaros were sold as 1970 models (due to GM publicity pictures of the '69 Camaro labeled as a 1970), but they were all assigned 1969 VIN codes.
