FAA WATERCOLOR MARK WILL NOT APPEAR ON FINAL SALES
While attending a large car show this past weekend I was looking for something that I had not seen before as at a lot of these shows you run into the same cars. As everyone knows everyone and its a great day out with food and music. But every once in a while I will get lucky and find a couple of unique cars that I have not seen before. I saw this beautiful 1932 Ford Coupe Roadster which had been chopped and various upgraded parts had been inserted into the car. The car was a two door built with suicide doors and a hard top. That was the way Ford made this model back in 1932. But in this car they inserted a metal bench with no backseat. The windows were all still the same and so was the way the engine hood was lifted by having the hood open from each side. Therefore if you just needed to work on one side you didn't need to open the complete hood. Again, another piece from the original car. The original car came with what Ford called a Ford V-8 engine, first V-8 in a mass produced Ford Coupe on an assembly line. This engine in this Roadster had been upgraded and due to the idea of keeping the car light as it was originally built it was extremely fast. This was a great vintage roadster and I was glad I got to speak to the owner and find out additional information about the car.
