FAA WATERCOLOR MARK DOES NOT APPEAR ON FINAL SALES
This photograph was taken in Sands Point, New York at the very western tip of the north shore of Long Island. This is one of three castles that on the property that was owned by the Guggenheim family. This particular castle was designed after a castle in Ireland. It now serves as a passage way on the ground floor for horses to go through and has a tourist area where you can go through and look at this amazing architectual stone building. This photograph here was taken of the castle's clock tower with a working clock right in front of the tower. Once a year the property hosts a Renaissance Fair were individuals come dressed as knights and maidens, there are small animals and even a jousting contest along with sword fights. This castle sits about a half a mile from over looking the Long Island Sound and onto the coast of Connecticut.

My name is John Telfer, my love for photography began when I was about 7 years old and tried to duplicate the action photos I saw in Sports Illustrated. Photography for me since then has become more then a hobby but a passion that I truly enjoy. My art work is not only visible on my web site but at various photography exhibits I have had the opportunity to display my photography work at. My work includes such themes as scenery, wildlife, flowers, city shots, urban, people, fishing and classic cars. There is something in my galleries for everyone. All of my photos would look good hanging on a wall and would make a pleasant gift for a family member or friend or as a gift to your Doctor, Dentist, Lawyer, Barber or family businessman for...

Hi Delores, this castle is one of three castles located on Long Island in the town of Sands Point. They were owned and operated by the Guggenheim family and designed after castles in Ireland.
