While walking around Riverhead, New York with some of my family from Flanders Long Island, my niece and I were photographing various scenic images that we were seeing at this beautiful park we were at in the heart of the town of Riverhead. Right after photographing some scenic water images we were about to head towards the stores when the rest of the relatives yelled to us to look at the female and male geese leading their ducklings into the larger section of the lake. My niece and I both waited hoping that the ducklings would continue in their straight path and come right towards us. Just as we were about to photographing the geese and their duckings the female goose turned but we were lucky enough to capture the small ducklings all in a row followed my the male goose protecting them. Plus we were able to capture the sun reflecting on the lake along with the images of the geese and ducklings. Great timing and lots of luck.
