On a hot 92 degree day I agreed to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge with a friend of mine that I had grown up with, who was visiting from San Francisco. We entered one of the most famous bridges in the world and walked 2.4 miles from Brooklyn into Manhattan. After taking in some of the sites in Manhattan we decided to let the sun begin to set before we began to start our trip back across the Brookln Bridge and capture anything we had not seen on our initial walk across the Brooklyn Bridge to Manhattan. Just as we were about to exit from the Brooklyn Bridge and enter Brooklyn right on my right hand side the sign that says it all. WELCOME TO BROOKLYN and right under that statement the famous statement made famous by Jackie Gleason, "How Sweet It Is!", from his comedy show, The Honeymooners and variety show. In addition the sign lists the current Brooklyn Borough President, Eric Adams and NYC's mayor Bill de Blasio. The sign is kept in mint condition and the various colors on it really stick out.
