Due to the Covid - 19 Pandemic during 2020 car shows were canceled on Long Island with the exception of some small ones in the early part of September in areas that I could not get to. So I thought I would go through my files of car shows from last year in 2019 and see if I could come across any interesting cars or trucks I may have photographed but did not put on website. I came across one folder that had 3 shows that were held at Belmont Race Track also known as the Home of the 3rd Leg of the Triple Crown of Horse Racing. I love going to shows at Belmont Race Track as the shows attract over 1,000 cars and trucks of all makes and models and there is always plenty of space. At this one particular show in June 2019 I was walking on the outside of the show before going down the various lanes when I came across this stunning colorful 1952 Ford F-100 Pick-Up Truck. The paint job was amazing as according to the owner it was done to give off the impression of speed when driving. At the front of the F-100 the paint job started off as green and faded to yellow then to red with red flames running from the front to the rear. Just looking at the F-100 with this paint job you right away got the impression of speed. As was the norm with all '50's trucks and cars, it had large rounded fenders and a large rounded front hood. The driver's cabin was extra large and tall and had a running board right below the cabin door. The grill was large from being long and deep with the front headlights built onto the grill. It was a truck I had never seen before and something different and I was glad to capture it
