While on vacation this past summer in Wilmington, North Carolina, the hotel I was staying at informed me that there was a great beach about 10 minutes from the hotel in the town of Wrightsville, North Carolina. When I arrived at the beach I was happy that I had listened to the hotel clerk and went to this beach. The sand was clean and the water was clear so you could you see in the shallow waters right down to your feet. On this particular day there was a storm that had moved out to sea and the waves from that storm were still coming up onto the beach. I enjoyed sitting in my beach chair and watching the waves carrying the white water and then curling over and crashing down onto the water beneath it. The sound and the action was very soothing which was just what I wanted on this vacation. I eventually got up and went down to where the water was rolling up onto the beach and took several shots.
