While awaiting a ferry to return me from Coronado Beach in San Diego, California to the waterfront area of San Diego I looked over across at the waterfront and could not believe how quickly the day had changed. How one minute the waters were calm and still and the sky was a bright blue sky giving a perfect backdrop to the skyline of San Diego. I grabbed my camera anticipating that we were about to get hit by a major rainstorm and took a photo of the storm approaching San Diego just as I got onto the ferry and of course headed right into the storm. Because just as we docked on the waterfront of San Diego the winds picked up and the rain came crashing down.
