I was out on a charter boat fishing trip, fishing for stripers and blues and after we had met our quota for the day we decided to call it a day and head into shore since the sun was beginning to set and we still had to make our way past the jetties to get us into Manhasset Bay. As the sun began to set over the Long Island Sound which is located on the north shore of Long Island, New York within minutes clouds began to cover the sun that was setting only leaving small patches in the sky above us of what was a beautiful gorgeous day for fishing. As the sun began to set in the west we pulled up anchor and turned our engines on and began to get ready to head back to port and get our boat into the slip before we got hit by this storm.
