After leaving Massapequa, a town on the south shore of Long Island aboard my son-in-law's boat with my family to enjoy a day on at Fire Island to celebrate my birthday. My son-in-law who knew I wanted to capture as many scenic images on the water and at Fire Island along with photographing the family having fun, put the boat into neutral as we were cruising by the famous Fire Island Lighthouse. He allowed for some of the wake to pass us from a boat that had just went by us and gave off a small wake. I was right in front of the Fire Island Lighthouse along with the beach and the bushes and grass surrounding the Lighthouse. Even though I was so close I still took out my zoom lens and began to take vertical and horizontal photos of the Lighthouse. In this image I was lucky as the Light within the Lighthouse had just moved to wear I was standing and even though it was not on I was able to capture it with my zoom lens in this photo. After se...
