FAA WATERCOLOR MARK DOES NOT APPEAR ON FINAL SALES
While on a weekend visit to Montauk, New York located on the eastern end of Long Island. I took a walk down to the beach below the Montauk Lighthouse on a cold winter day in February, 2013. While down on the beach it was very windy and the wind was creating three to four foot white caps in the ocean and causing the waves to come crashing in on the rocks causing the wind to grab hold of the waves spray and spread it all over the rocks and the immediate area. There was a large amount of seagulls resting in a protected area behind some rocks and for the few seagulls that ventured out to try and fly in this strong wind they were quickly pushed back to shore. The scene of the waves crashing and the white caps in the background with the seagulls hiding from the rough day made for an interesting combination, and hopefully and interesting photo.

About John Telfer
My name is John Telfer, my love for photography began when I was about 7 years old and tried to duplicate the action photos I saw in Sports Illustrated. Photography for me since then has become more then a hobby but a passion that I truly enjoy. My art work is not only visible on my web site but at various photography exhibits I have had the opportunity to display my photography work at. My work includes such themes as scenery, wildlife, flowers, city shots, urban, people, fishing and classic cars. There is something in my galleries for everyone. All of my photos would look good hanging on a wall and would make a pleasant gift for a family member or friend or as a gift to your Doctor, Dentist, Lawyer, Barber or family businessman for...
