Photographed this Puma at the Queens Zoo, located in Queens, New York on the old Worlds Fair grounds, that held the Worlds Fair in New York in 1967-68. The Puma is not in a cage which photographing him is such a pleasure since you get that sense of a natural habitat that I always strive for in my wildlife photos. This Puma had just woken up and as he got up from sleeping and began to look down from the small hill he was on, I photograph him as he was standing there almost to protect his territory.
