During the summer I took my boat out and anchored in a nice private area called Cow Meadow Park, located in Freeport, New York which is on the south shore of Long Island. As I was sitting on the bow of my boat I connected my zoom lens and sat right up against the bow's railings. This caught the eye of three jet skiers who were looking for boats either leaving or coming into Cow Meadow Park so they could jump their wakes. As each jet skier passed me they would slow down and look at me either to see what I was doing with my camera, get my attention to take a photo of them or see if I was going to raise my anchor and begin to leave so that they could follow me out and jump my wake. Well I stayed right there and eventually other large boats leaving big wakes came into the waters and the jet skiers would charge at these wakes full throttle.
