While attending a Classic Car show recently at the Planting Fields located in Oyster Bay, New York on the north shore of Long Island. I came across a model that was hired to keep with the theme of the Classic Car Show, her name was Ms. Veronica and she is famous around Long Island, Brooklyn, Queens and in New Jersey for attending Car Shows and posing in front of the various owners cars and having her photo taken at the request of the owner of the car. She usually will pose with the owner and his car at the owner's request, she is very friendly and willingly to have her photo taken by anyone. The theme of this particular Car Show on this day was "Pets for Vets". In conjunction with the numerous animal shelters on Long Island, and the vets returning from over seas. This Car Show was designed to help raise awareness for the Unites States soldiers coming back from the numerous wars with no jobs and sometimes no one to be with. This was a program to help get returning vets jobs and a companion in the form of pet, dogs, cats, etc. It was great to see the large turnout and Ms. Veronica dressed appropriately from the woman who helped serve our serviceman in World War II. It was for a great cause and for someone who has a son in the Marines who has just returned recently from Afghanistan I was more then happy to be there and donate whatever I could.
