FAA WATERCOLOR WILL NOT APPEAR ON THE FINAL SALES
While at the Bronx Zoo I happen to come across a 9 month old Baby Giraffe. As his mother was walking around he was just standing there looking around. I began to take some photos of him while he was still but the next I knew a peacock had wandered about 20 feet from where the giraffe was. I kept my camera on the Giraffe as I could see he noticed the peacock but did not know how to react. Now the first set of pictures of the Baby Giraffe, I chose one and put it in my gallery of him standing by himself. Next to my surprise the Baby Giraffe walked right over to the Peacock and lowered his neck and almost as if they were both talking to each other because of their positioning I was able to get that shot from a half side rear angle, but it still made for a great shot in this series and I downloaded that shot to my gallery. Now I had both the Peacock and the Baby Giraffe in my sights as I watched them for several minutes walking along with the Baby Giraffe constantly keeping his long neck down to the ground as it appeared they were having a conversation. Sometimes they would stop then start walking again, this went on for about 5 minutes and was drawing a lot of attention from the people at the Bronx Zoo. Next they both stopped looked at each other and then headed off in different directions, almost to say, "Take care I will see you later". I was so happy I was able to get this last shot of them parting ways with both of them in my lens, made for a great trilogy of shots of my day following the antics of this 9 month old Baby Giraffe.
