FAA WATERCOLOR MARK DOES NOT APPEAR ON FINAL SALES
While taking some friends and family into New York City one of our stops was the Central Park Zoo located right in the heart of Central Park. While not to big it does have some impressive animals and is definately worth a visit. As I was walking around I saw this entrance made out to look like a cave entrance. I went into it and I could not believe what I saw. This larger then life Snow Leopard staring right at me from about twenty feet away. One of the Park's rangers was right there and I asked him if he would not mind if I climbed up on some rocks and got a moment just to hang my camera over the fence for a couple of quick shots, I knew I was pressing my luck but to my surprise he responded by telling me to wait till everyone had cleared out and make it fast. I immediately got my camera ready climbed up on several rocks hung over the fence while this amazing animal just stared at me and then began taking several quick shots with my zoom lens on and shudder speed set. As I jumped down this enormous animal just let out a remarkable growl almost saying don't come back. But when I returned home and saw those amazing eyes and the size of the head that I had captured it made it all worth while taking the chance.
