While on a day trip to Sleepy Hollow in the fall I was getting ready to leave when as I was driving my car down the road I noticed this clock tower in the center of town. I stopped to get close up to the sign and took several pictures from various angles. While this photo to many would appear in the fall around October in every town, not for the town of Sleepy Hollow. People come to Sleepy Hollow year rounds to visit the famous grave site where Washington Irving is buried the author of the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow and many other famous individuals that even I was shocked are buried in this quiet little town in Tarrytown, NY. But scenes like this of frightening pumpkins hanging from clock towers or any where else is common to the people of Sleepy Hollow and expected of the people who come to visit year round. The town of Sleepy Hollow is just not about the Headless Horseman but it does offer several very famous museums, one notable one Is the Rockefeller Museum with his collection of fine china, and cars. Along with the town being right on the river it also has a history of stories to go along with the famous pirate Captain Kidd.
