While recently visiting the town of Sleepy Hollow, New York which is a small town of Tarrytown, New York, I decided to take a walk through the famous Sleepy Hollow Cemetery on this hot spring day. I initially walked around viewing some of the famous memorials dedicated to men and woman of Sleepy Hollow who had fought in the Revolutionary, Civil, World War I and World War II Wars. In addition to viewing some very famous individuals plots who are buried in the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, of course the author of the Headless Horseman and Sleepy Hollow novels, Washington Irving. I knew where I wanted to wind up as I was leaving the Cemetery and that was right along this beautiful stream, which I wanted to capture at the right time of the day. On this day even though it was 85 degrees out and humid I was able to get down very close to the edges of the very shallow waters of the stream and get a very picturesque photo of this very old bridge made of tree bark with the calm stream calming at me and the whole setting surrounded by all of this gorgeous green shrubbery, along with the sun reflecting off of the bridge, stream and bridge. Right place at the right time.
