While heading out towards the inlet of the Atlantic Ocean on my friend's boat for a day of fluke fishing, there was a lot of boat traffic and a lot of boaters trying to race out to the ocean and get away from all of the fisherman who were setting up in their favorite spots. At this time we had already gone out to fine line of the Atlantic Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean Inlet and were letting the tide and wind just allow us at a very small pace drift us in. When we would get to close to all of the other boats or land we would turn the engines on again and head back out to the ocean and begin to drift with our poles out seeking some fluke. While during one of drifts we were right in a spot where there is no longer a 5 mph, no wake zone and as we drifted inland I heard this boat racing out to the ocean, I quickly grabbed my camera and began to shoot multiple shots of this cruiser racing through the ocean. This shot I felt came out perfect, with the perfect blue sky and great looking calm blue water in front of the boat along with being able to capture the speed of the boat as he began to race through the ocean leaving white spray, wakes and white caps at the back of his boat as it seemed he was in a hurry to get to his favorite fishing spot. This photo was taken right outside of Freeport, New York on the south shore of Long Island as we all sat on the Atlantic Ocean.
