While visiting the historical grounds of the Old Westbury Gardens two weeks ago as the weather began to get better after a brutal 2015 winter I was walking around the floral gardens of the Old Westbury Estate and was in the famous Rose Garden which contains several Koi ponds and many different types of flowers and shrubbery, as I was beginning to leave the Rose Garden through the side gates I came across these beautiful tulips that were just blooming, they had long green stems with remarkable colored yellow and red pedals. After taking this photo the tulips due to the angle and their bright colors appeared through my camera as I was reviewing some of photos to be a painting. So beautiful and colorful.
