As I was walking through the Bronx Zoo, located in the Bronx, New York. II wanted to see if I could get some good photographs of the Grizzly Bears. When I got to their den I noticed there was three Grizzly Bears in the area. The largest was off to the side by himself in his own water hole and chewing on some grass. The other two Grizzly Bears were in a similiar watering hole but it was much smaller. The next thing as I was getting to take some shots of them just wading in the water, the two Grizzly Bears that had been sharing a water hole jumped up at each other and literally attempted to put each other in bear hugs and one appeared to be beginning to bite the other ones shoulder that quickly broke up the bear hug these two huge bears were engaging in but next one made a leap at the other one which I caught in this photograph to push him out of the water hole. Eventually the whole skirmish ceased when the larger Grizzly Bear came over and stood on his hind legs and let out a growl and pushed one away from the other. Next they all separated, I also have on my web site the two Grizzly Bears engaging in the bear hug which initiated the fight.
