While on vacation in the Poconos in the summer of July 2013 I visited one of my favorite places to go in the Poconos and that is the Bushkill Falls, nicknames the Niagara Falls of Pennsylvania. These falls are actually made up of eight waterfalls that eventually lead downstream to the Delaware Water Gap. In order to get certain views of the Falls you have to go on certain hiking trails and some are more difficult then others. On this particular day the temperture was somewhere around 95 degrees and I wanted to get the best head on shot of the falls smashing against the rocks and generating all of that great white water, which to me makes the waterfall photo exciting as you see the water falling and smashing against the rocks and falling again and forming all of that white water. The Falls are nestled right in the mountains of the Poconos in the Bushkill area and are surrounded by the beautiful scenic views from the gorgeous greenery on the trees and the bushes. The climbing and hiking was well worth it to get these photos and also some great video
