While at the San Diego Zoo, located in San Diego, California I wanted to get a shot of one of the pandas. I was told to get on this very long line and had to be extremely quiet! It seems that the pandas are very shy and since they have them positioned so close to the tourists at the zoo they will run and hide if they think they are in any danger. This was a very hard shot to take, as I had to wait for the mother Panda to come away from the Baby Panda, which she rarely does, if she moves she will usually take the baby panda with her, then on top of that I had to take it at just the right angle because of the sun and how white the fur on the Panda is, or else the fur would just show up like a snow ball. The one thing I really stuck out at me after reviewing several of the photos I shot was the size and sharpness of the claws on the Panda and I saw the mother Panda her claws were even bigger, beautiful animals to look at but not an animal you would want to have to defend yourself against.
