While fishing out in Montauk Point, New York waters for the day, the sun began to set over a very hot July day that had basically taken it's toll on everybody in the boat, as we had started out at 6:00am and had fished for stripers and caught our limit but the hazy and hot sun beating down on us had taken its toll for the day. So we pulled up anchor only to look around and see that pretty much everyone else had enough of the heat for the day and where already gone. As we began to head back to the marina I turned and saw only two die hard fishing charters still out in the canyon fishing as that hot sun was setting leaving a beautiful reflection right in the water as it began its descend onto the horizon.
My name is John Telfer, my love for photography began when I was about 7 years old and tried to duplicate the action photos I saw in Sports Illustrated. Photography for me since then has become more then a hobby but a passion that I truly enjoy.
