FAA WATERCOLOR MARK DOES NOT APPEAR ON FINAL SALES
While coming in from a long ten hour black fishing trip on the south shore of Long Island with three of my friends, the fishing boat we had chartered was beginning to come in from the ocean and hit the various inlets to get us to the docks so we could begin filleting our black fish. We were lucky enough to have had a fifty degree day on the tenth day of December and to top it off had max-ed out on our limit of black fish for the day. As the charter boat began to make its final turns into the inlets it hit the various no wake and 5 mile an hour limit signs. I looked back and saw the great winter sun that was out all day had disappeared behind the horizon but was still giving off great colors and causing the trees, bushes and other items standing between me and the sun to take on a dark silhouette image. Winter skies in the morning and at night are always my favorite and at 5:30 pm as we made our final turn this was the gorgeous sky I was able to photograph on a beautiful December night.
