While on a recent opportunity to visit Istanbul Turkey I had to pack quick as it was a last minute offer and one I did not want to pass up. I made one thing I brought was my camera. After a long walk around Istanbul during the day seeing all of the old buildings that I made sure to capture with my camera. My friends and I headed down to a pier that was running right along the water. By the time we had reached this pier the sun was setting on the horizon, but the sky began to look very interesting as we could sense a storm coming in. I took out my camera knowing we might not have much time before it started to rain. The sky I captured was full of blue, white and gray colors and the clouds were beginning to move in and taking on various shapes and details. The sun was remarkable as it began to set on the horizon behind a landscape it cast several sun rays into the sky and caused the landscape to go into a silhouette image along with several individuals and the majority of the pier in the foreground. The sun was still strong enough thou to cast a beautiful reflection in the calm water and even onto the pier which I had never captured with my camera before. The scene was breathtaking and it never did rain but the night time air was very comfortable.
