While in Boston, Massachusetts was told at a local restaurant that I was having dinner at that if I wanted to go to a great nightclub then head quickly to the Beehive Club in the arts district. When I arrived there was a line out the door that led to a basement nightclub. The surroundings were unique and then I ordered some appetizers and drinks and they were great. I asked our waiter if it would be alright to take some shots of the club and the band playing and he told me take as many as you like, have a good time. I took this photograph as this sensational rockin and blues band took the stage and started playing some originals and classic covers. Great place to go, wound up going back the next night, always a different theme of music and some great food. An old-fashioned dinner club, the Beehive is always buzzing, whether at its weekend jazz brunch or at night, when patrons crowd three deep around the bar, and there's live music with no cover. The entertainment is diversejazz one night, bossa nova the next, even burlesque and belly dancing on occasionand paired with themed menus. The regular menu is a mishmash of Mediterranean/American/Central European standards, such as seared zaatar-spiced swordfish, Moroccan couscous with chicken and lamb, and mustard-and-herb-crusted roast rack of pork. It's all served up in a 200-year-old space beneath the Boston Center for the Arts (formerly a theater and boiler room) with exposed brick and beams across high ceilings. Many of the servers are local artists whose work is on the walls. Tables fill up after 8 pm, and the line begins to stretch outside. Go early or on a weeknight to snag a spot, or just head for the bar.

Hurrah for having your artwork chosen to be a featured piece on our homepage this week. You have many fine pieces in your portfolio of your works, and I am happy you chose this one to submit for possible featuring in our group on the homepage. It now has reached that goal of being featured in our group, a family of friends and fine artists of the Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery Group. Congratulations on this fine accomplishment
