As I was leaving Jones Beach, located in Wantagh, New York on the south shore of Long Island, I looked up from Jones Beach Field 4 that we had been swimming in the ocean all day and saw this gorgeous blue sky right in front of me. So I grabbed my camera bag that I had wrapped up in a garbage bag so no sand would get near it and took several shots of the Robert Moses Tower. I particularly liked this one due to the vertical angle and the intimidating feature it gives off as a piece of architectural magic. The Robert Moses Tower sits on the Ocean Parkway which runs from the Meadowbrook Parkway and passes all of the various beaches at Jones Beach until it takes you to the very end of Ocean Parkway which leads you into Captree State Park. The Tower was named after Robert Moses who designed most of Long Island's bridges, parkways and causeways.
