This photograph was taken from a cruise ship that departs from the piers in Queens, New York where the 1967-68 Worlds Fair was held. The cruise ship then continues to go on a four hour cruise around Manhattan Island. This particular photograph was taken in February during a very cold night with the tempertures at the 25 degree mark at approximately 9:00pm at night. This shot is at the heart of midtown Manhattan from the water and focuses in on the New York City Skyline from the water with the Chrysler Building prominent.
