As we left at 6:30am on a hot summer morning from Manhassett Bay located in Manhassett, New York on the north shore of Long Island we headed out to the Long Island Sound for some striper and bluefishing. While sitting in the Long Island Sound at around 11:30am we could see the sun really coming overhead and I looked back and could see a beautiful scenic shot of the Long Island Sound leading into Manhassett Bay, with the sun bouncing off the water giving the impression of "Diamonds on the Water" I photographed this shot from the breakers just outside of Manhassett Bay leading to the LI Sound.
