While on a trip into New York City on December 30, 2016, I planned a complete scenic route of NYC so that I could capture all of the iconic areas that I had been wanting to get different views of or first time photos of. The day was a mild 40 degrees which really worked out well for me. I started by crossing Broadway and took several photos of Freedom Tower from the side walk, next I began to walk closer and closer to the building and wanted to get the best possible angle shot that would give me the complete shot of this fantastic piece of architecture. I walked right in front of it and knelt down and leaned as far back as I could go and caught this amazing sight of the Tower with a great blue sky and clouds going by which from the distance I was next to the Tower and looking straight up made it seem like the Tower was moving. After several more shots I figured it was time to move on to my next stop over by the New York Stock Exchange. In my gallery I do have a photo of the Freedom Tower that was taken while I was standing on top of the observatory deck at the Empire State Building, while that shot is very popular and has had a tremendous amount of likes and views on my site I believe this photo in my opinion to be a better one.
