I decided to visit Jacksonville, North Carolina over the summer for two reasons I had to been to North Carolina in the past and always had a great time and second my son and my daughter in law were living down there since he was a U.S Marine based in Jacksonville,North Carolina. When I got to their home where I stayed for a week they had a whole agenda of things to do and one was to go to Indian Beach everyday and since I love the beach this was a perfect way to start off each day. On the first day at Indian Beach I was standing in the shallow part of the water that was coming in when I turned to walk back to my towel and put my camera away and caught out of the side of my eye this beach seagull just hanging out by himself. He was not looking to take off anytime soon nor was he looking for food. He was so fixated on the action in the ocean that he just kept staring right into the ocean. He had tall black thin legs which held a plumb body which was made up of a fat white feathered belly, gray colored feathers on his back and a long black tail feathers. In addition, his head was white with touched of gray on each side of his head and finally he had a very long black beak. I was able to take several photos from different angles without the seagull acknowledging me or even moving his head or moving at all, just continuing to stare out into the Atlantic Ocean.
