FAA WATERCOLOR MARK DOES NOT APPEAR ON FINAL SALES
After Hurricane Irene hit the New York area last year, I took a ride through some local towns and could not believe the destruction the winds from Hurricane Irene had left in her path. In this photograph that I took I was driving through a town called Floral Park, New York on Long Island and could not believe what I saw, right across the street from where I used to live was this 50 year old tree whose roots where well down into the concrete after all of these years and Hurricane Irene brought that tree and cracked the concrete sidewalk like a twig. Believe it or not there is a large full colonial house behind this massive tree that was just uprooted from the concrete. But compared to Hurricane Sandy, Hurricane Irene was like a bad thunderstorm.

My name is John Telfer, my love for photography began when I was about 7 years old and tried to duplicate the action photos I saw in Sports Illustrated. Photography for me since then has become more then a hobby but a passion that I truly enjoy.
